The students had a great time at Thiessen's Apple Orchard this past Thursday. The students had a short lesson on the life cycle of the apple and then we went on the tractor for a ride to the orchard. At the pumpkin patch the students shared their knowledge about the life cycle of the pumpkin. The students were able to pick their own pumpkins. After lunch the students picked their apples from the bins due to the fact there were no apples left on the trees, because of the hot weather this past fall. The students then went to look at the animals and spent time in the play/equipment area. A big thank you to our chaperones! All the students had a fun time.
