This past week the students have helped make a Santa's Workshop centre. The students have been eager to change our Ice Cream shop to Santa's Workshop. The students have created a new sign and helped by voicing items to include in the new centre. Ms. Colaluca is hard at work on Santa's sleigh and the children are eager to explore some holiday clothing. They were also excited this week when we received a large package from the North Pole. Inside was our very own Elf on a Shelf. After reading the book the students brainstormed possible names for our Elf. If was decided that we would call our class elf Snowflake. As was stated in our letter from Santa, our Elf likes to play in the classroom at night and get into mischief. This week we have already found Snowflake on the PA system, the ceiling fan and in the Christmas cactus. The students have been eager to write to Santa about Snowflake and leave their letters in the special Christmas mailbox.
