Part of our school week is taken up with physical education. This is done in two forms. We have formal gym classes twice a week. In the pictures below the students are working on a movement circuit of activities using scoops, hula hoops, jump ropes and scooters. We also take daily brain breaks in the form of movement to music. We may have one or two movement breaks when transitioning between lessons or when I notice the students need to move after sitting for a long period of time.
