Today the students took part in a field trip to Ojibway Nature Centre. The students learned to spot signs of Spring by finding animals and plants at the nature centre. The students took part in two nature hikes, completed a scavenger hunt, got up close with a snake and turtle, tried to hand feed some birds and explored the exhibits in the nature centre. The students also learned to identify a variety of different bird species and were able to spot tracks of the deer in the park and learned about the life cycle of robins and frogs. Great fun was had by all.
