During our field trip to Ojibway Nature Centre the students learned about some of the animals they would see in the park during the spring. They also played a game to identify the animal sounds they may hear. We enjoyed a guided tour through the park and saw many different birds, turtles, chipmunks and even a raccoon. We learned about some rare plants on our walk. We got to meet and touch the resident snake and see some of the preserved specimens on display in the visitor's area. A thanks to the parents and also nursing students who helped chaperone our trip. Great fun was had by all!
