Today a number of students made Easter egg art by using shaving cream and food dye. Shaving cream was spread on a tray and the students picked the different food dye they wanted to use. The students then mixed the dye and shaving cream with a straw until a pleasing colour combination was made. Cut out Bristol board in the shape of an egg was placed face down in the shaving cream. The students pressed the paper egg down firmly into the shaving cream. The egg was then taken out and the extra shaving cream was squeegeed off. A beautiful marbled egg was the result.
