The students celebrated Earth Day by taking part in a few activities at school. Ms. Nancy made arrangements for all the students to take part in planting. The students also spent some time helping move wood chips into the gardens. This week the students will be exploring ways to help the Earth. The students will investigate the three R's (reuse, renew, recycle) through books, film, games and songs. Later on students will also be using the three R's to create something new. To that end we would appreciate the students sending in objects that can be reused to create a new object that the students plan and make. We are accepting cereal and package boxes, paper towel tubes, ribbon, string, fabric pieces, Styrofoam, paper, caps, plastic bottles, clean cans or any items that can be used to make something new. Please refrain from sending in egg cartons or toilet paper tubes due to germs.
