The last two school days the kindergarten students welcomed some community helpers to talk to the class about their jobs. On Friday Mrs. Curtin made arrangements with Children's Safety Village for fire fighters to come visit the school. The students were fascinated with the fire truck and all the equipment they were shown. The students were also able to tour the truck and sit in it. On Monday morning a Sargent from the police force came to talk to the class. He discussed his job, equipment he uses, and answered questions the students had put together last week. He also talked about how the students can remain safe when outside playing.
