Our caterpillars have grown bigger since we last looked at them. The students have noted that not only has the size changed but as the caterpillars have gotten bigger their look has changed. You can now see that some of the caterpillars have white areas on their bodies. The students continue to be fascinated with the poop that the caterpillars produce in their container which needs to be cleaned out so that they have access to their food. The students have also noted that the small black spots in their container is their skin that they shed as they grow bigger.
